Stepan Avagyan Memorial: “Jermuk-2017” XII International Open Youth Chess Tournament

Stepan Avagyan Memorial - "Jermuk-2017" XII International Open Youth Chess Tournament will take place from July 1 (arrival) to July 11 (departure) in different age groups (under 10, 12 and 18) as 9-round Swiss tournament. The tournament is being held according to FIDE Laws of Chess. Only the tournament under 18 will be sent to international calculation.

Time control: 90 minutes for the whole game with 30 seconds increment starting from the first move for each player. 

Boys and girls U12 (at least IV chess category) and U18 (at least I chess category) can participate in this tournament. 

The organizer of the tournament is Chess Academy of Armenia.
The total prize fund of the tournament is 2 600 000 AMD.
